We will be offering audio critiques by 3 trained and qualified judges for each routine.
We will do ONE LIVE awards ceremony on May 1st and May 2nd (depending on how many entries register).
We will be emailing certificates for adjudications and overall awards, however, Award packages will be available for purchase, which will be sent to each registered studio/independent dancer.
Current skill levels, time limits, competition rules regarding music and costuming as stated in our Rules & Regulations still apply. Independent entries are welcome still unless your studio is already registering for the Virtual Competition.
Depending on the development of the COVID-19 situation, we understand gatherings to film may not be possible. We accept videos from a stage performance as long as they were filmed no earlier than January 1, 2020 and there are no logos or graphics anywhere on the video (Ex: Other competition or convention names, studio names or logos).
We also accept routines filmed at home or non-competitive environments as long as the dance space is adequate. Dance space should be at least 20x20. Other details to keep in mind when filming:
Earthshakers is not responsible for any injuries that occur during the taping of submitted routine videos.
By registering for this event, you agree that any submitted routines are current routines being performed at competitions in the 2020 competition season, featuring dancers currently enrolled at your studio.
By registering for this event, you agree that your pre-recorded video will be shown via live stream.
By registering for this event, you agree with all policies stated above and are held accountable to abiding by all rules set forth within the rules and virtual competition pages of this website. Failure to comply with policies may result in disqualification from events.
In order for us to have a viable competition, a minimum 200 entries will be required.
Please understand, this is a rapidly developing event. It is new for all of us and we are still working to figure out some elements of the process. We want to provide information quickly so you can move forward with us knowing we will continue to offer a competition you can trust. We are working diligently to make this a positive experience for the dancers, parents, teachers and studio owners.
